Old-fashioned cozy dance party for the elderly.
The Dance Palace is a theatrical mini-event for people aged 65 and over. The PD (PlatenDraaier) pulls the old squatters out of the suitcase such as Johnny Hoes, Louis Prima, Doris Day and many other stars of yesteryear. A driving disc furniture, shiny dance floor, festive decor and hostesses and hosts, inspired by the 40s and 50s, make the Danspaleis a joyful celebration of recognition. From sing-alongs to tear-jerks, from polonaise to rock-and-roll and from the English Waltz to the Foxtrot: everything is over!
Everyone is welcome in the Danspaleis, so local residents, family members, staff and young people join in to this feast of life.
At every Dance Palace we can use people who ask elderly people to dance, drink drinks or have a chat with an elderly person.
