The Neighborhood Sports Coaches, the Association Supporter and Youth on Healthy Weight director of the Gooise Meren have the role to
promote lifestyle, in which regular exercise and exercise, healthy eating and drinking, being outdoors and central to others.
The Neighborhood Sports Coaches strive for more participation in sports and exercise activities by children, young people and adults and seniors, who experience a barrier to exercise or who seek connection with society.
The Neighborhood Sports Coaches inform residents about a healthy lifestyle and about the existing range of sports and exercise. They organize and privatize new appropriate sports and exercise activities in the area.
The Association Supporter contributes to organisationally, financially and administratively healthy associations and the exchange of knowledge and information between sports associations and other sectors such as care, welfare, education and business.
The Youth on Healthy Weight director creates a healthy environment in places where children and young people visit a lot, such as school, sports and work. It connects and collaborates with public and private organizations in the area such as the municipality of Gooise Meren, schools, childcare and welfare organizations, sports associations, banks, supermarkets, water companies and food producers.
The Neighborhood Sports Coaches, the Association Supporter and the Youth on Healthy Weight director of the Gooise Meren share their experiences and contacts, work together and strengthen each other where possible!
