Tasks and activities
As a steward you are a point of contact for FC Groningen visitors. You have an important, controlling and customer-friendly function. You supervise the inflow and search visitors at the entrance. You answer questions and inform and refer visitors. You are able to identify / solve all sorts of (small) situations in a communicative manner and / or to call in any help with this.
Skills and qualities
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable people who are:
- Between 18 and 60 years of age.
- Available for FC Groningen home and away matches.
- Alert and assertive.
- Flexible, stress-resistant and have a large degree of responsibility.
- Being representative and customer friendly.
- Having good communication skills.
- Daring and self-assured.
- To be able to work together with all disciplines within the club.
- Be prepared to follow the prescribed dress instructions. br>
- Be prepared to attend courses and attend instruction days including the KNVB / UEFA steward training (about five half days).

You are part of the FC Groningen organization. The feeling of belonging to a large family. That you are summoned at all major events in Euroborg (home games of FC Groningen) and possibly for away matches!
In addition to the fact that for this work a volunteer fee is paid, FC Groningen also provides for other matters such as work clothes (coat), training and possibly a lunch package.
Furthermore, the volunteer organization (VRG) organizes various activities during the season.

De Verenigbare Club zorgt voor meer verbinding in de sport. Dit door sportverenigingen te ondersteunen, zodat ze een sterkere rol in de wijk krijgen.
Dit doen wij door als vrijwilligersmakelaar mensen te helpen bij het vinden van vrijwilligerswerk in de sport. Dit kan iedereen zijn, die graag vrijwilligerswerk wil doen. Of je nu in de bijstand zit, nieuwkomer bent of al jarenlang ergens werkt. Iedereen kan op zijn of haar manier een bijdrage leveren aan onze maatschappij.
Binnen de sport is namelijk genoeg te doen. Er zijn kortlopende functies en langlopende functie. Lijkt je het tof om de website eens aan te pakken? Een activiteit voor de jeugd te organiseren? Zit je toch liever in het bestuur? Wil je ervaring op doen als verzorger of toffe vlogs maken? Er zijn zoveel manieren om een bijdrage te leveren aan die sportverenigingen.
Samen dragen wij hierdoor bij aan top- en breedtesport, maar vooral aan maatschappelijke ontwikkeling. Is dat niet mooi?
