Detailed description
De materiaalmeester beheert het niet-varend materiaal van de groep (de boten vallen hier niet onder). Denk daar bij aan tenten, kookspullen, bestek/borden/bekers, olielampen, enzovoort.
De materiaalmeester zorgt ervoor dat er voldoende materiaal aanwezig is, en draagt zorg voor uitgifte en inname van materiaal voor de activiteiten/kampen van de verschillende onderdelen van de Zuiderkruisgroep.
Werktijden: Qua tijdsbesteding liggen pieken rond de kampperiodes. (Hemelvaart, Pinksteren en in de zomer)

Our Scouting Group offers everyone, young and old, the opportunity to relax and develop as individuals and as a group by means of the scouting game on land (Bevers and Cubs) and on the water (Sea Scouts and Wilde Vaart). The Zuiderkruisgroep is a dynamic and accessible association with the aim of giving children a fun time and giving something educational!
Our motto Sola Virtus Invicta (virtue is invincible) is therefore significant. This motto is from Roman times. Deity is only part of the real translation. You should not literally see the word Virtu (virtue). It is also translated as the quality of masculine (Vir) qualities that the Romans saw: courage, guts, power and power.
These days we cast this motto in a more modern look. As they get older, members are given an increasing degree of responsibility and a greater contribution is expected from them. In this way children from young to old can continue to develop in a challenging environment.
Activities
in addition to the weekly arrivals on Saturday, we organize; New Year's Eve, Kale Meal, Challenge, help with the 4th of May, commemorations in Hilversum, group day, incl. crossing and presentation of various awards, sailing school, summer camps, various weekend camps
group swimming, regional activities, Jantje Betoncollecte, speculaaspoppenaktie, Sinterklaas celebration, Christmas gin
