Stray Waste Packers (ZAPpers) are people who voluntarily commit themselves to a clean living environment by tackling litter in various ways: by 'clean walking' in the forest or in the city, by 'plogging' or by cleaning a street. adopt, alone or with a group of residents,
You can work as a ZAPper in various ways.
This activity is about 'Plogging':
Plogging is the latest trend from Scandinavia. In short, it means that you combine running with picking up litter, so that you are not only doing good for your health, but also for the environment. So win-win.
- When: Every 2nd Sunday of the month . From 10 am to 12 noon.
- Where: each time at a different location within or just outside the built-up area.
- Who can participate? Plogging with the Apeldoorns Plogging team is suitable for all fitness levels, from beginner to well-trained runner . Because we often choose plogging routes within or just outside built-up areas, the route is usually about 4-6 kilometers and the average running speed after 2 hours is very low (3 km/h). However, it is a complete workout with intervals, many lunges/squats, and lugging plog bags in your hand!
