Sea Scouts Johannes de Doper in Breukelen is an independent CWO Sailing School registered with Scouting Nederland under number 130151. Scouting Nederland is the largest youth and youth organization in the Netherlands. Scouting provides a fun and exciting leisure time. The association offers every child a safe and educational playing environment and offers challenging activities for young people. We do this on the water and train our frame ourselves!
Are you an enthusiastic and decisive volunteer, looking for a new challenge, where you get the opportunity to be meaningful for the development of children in Breukelen? Do you enjoy building something in your own neighbourhood, together with other volunteers? If you are also available for a few hours a week, we are looking for you!

You are treasurer of the board of the group association of Sea Scouts Johannes de Doper
As treasurer you translate the group policy into money and you are responsible for the finances.
What does the treasurer do?
Prepare and monitor the (multi-year) budget and profit and loss account every year
Financial administration, archive, management of authorizations and collection system
Prepare annual financial report and balance sheet
Management of the accounts and cash (payment, collection, contribution payment)
Control sub-budgets (material, maintenance, activities)
Declaration Policy
Coordination of financial actions
Acquisition of resources, grants and funds in collaboration with others
Good group insurance management
The treasurer is part of the board
Important:
You endorse the objective and the internal regulations of Scouting Nederland.
You are at least 18 years of age or older.
You are prepared to request or submit a Certificate of Good Conduct.
You are prepared to commit yourself to this position and to learn further in this yourself.
Estimated time load:
About 10 hours per month
There are 12 meetings per year
