The youth organization YMCA is looking for young enthusiasts for the 'teamwork' project who want to work in a team to (learn to) make reports,
The youth organization YMCA is looking for young enthusiasts for the 'teamwork' project who want to work in a team to (learn to) make reports, take photos or make films about the various activities of the YMCA.
The core activities for this project are: filming, photographing, interviewing and editing, in other words, you decide it from storyboard to YouTube!
Who are we looking for and what are you going to do? (Or: Who are you?)
Are you an aspiring visual thinker, creative or journalist? And are you between 16 and 30 years old, and do you think it would be a great challenge to work in a team on (short) films and photo reports that show the whole of the Netherlands in a cool way what the YMCA stands for. Decide with your team what you want to convey, divide the tasks and go for it!
Of course you must enjoy working in a team with other volunteers and not be afraid to learn something!
What else do you learn in this team? (Or: what do you get from us?)
You will be assigned a specific role in the team based on your interests. For example, you can be the person who wants to delve further into editing, filming or interviewing, or you can be the person who keeps control.
You become a real team player and discover which part of making a film, interview or report appeals to you the most. That will help you make better choices for the future. And you gain skills that are also important in the labor market.
How much time does it take?
On average it will take you about maybe 1 or 2 hours a week, but in practice it will probably take place a little more in a bundle, for example through an online consultation or by visiting and visualizing a YMCA activity.
The Media Team consists of young people spread throughout the Netherlands. You mostly work together online, occasionally you have meetings or activities on location, then you have to be prepared to travel to that place.
What does Project: Teamwork do?
YMCA Teamwork organizes a training where you can deepen your knowledge of these skills. You gain knowledge about the entire process, from planning to implementation.
