More and better housing for the elderly, with the possibility of meeting people, can lead to a better flow in the housing market, more care for each other and less loneliness. Do you also want to contribute to that? Then we would like to talk to you.

The Living for the Elderly working group is a young (since March '22) and active working group, set up by the Platform Wageningse Elderly. This working group strives to realize more suitable homes for senior citizens in Wageningen. The working group consults with the municipality, housing associations, healthcare institutions and other parties. She participates in consultations regarding (potential) building locations in Wageningen where homes for seniors can be built. In January 2023, the working group will organize a meeting for seniors on the subject of 'Future housing for seniors in Wageningen'. Housing and care are approached in an integrated way.

The working group consists of 6 members with different backgrounds, experience and competences. The working group meets once every four weeks. We are looking for a new member with background, experience and competence in communications and public relations. This includes providing media communications, arranging interviews, PR for meetings. Affinity and experience with the theme of living (and care) is an advantage.
