Engineering volunteer

To expand our technical team, we at Walhalla are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to get involved with technology by contributing to the activities that take place. You can think of musical activities such as: band performances, DJ parties, dance evenings and jam sessions.

There is a lot to learn in the field of technology: light, sound in general, but also electronics and technical maintenance. As a technology volunteer you will be involved in our technical team. At Walhalla there is plenty of opportunity to learn how to deal with light, sound and music through workshops and the many different activities. You can gain practical experience with, for example, strengthening a band or DJ, or supporting it with a light décor.

We are looking for volunteers who:

- Interested and motivated to learn new things.

- Looking for a new challenge and / or would like to acquire knowledge (with the activities below)

- Passionate about music in any way.

- Having an affinity with technology, preferably light and sound technology (not a plus, you can develop the affinity with us).

Activities are:

- Technical maintenance: carry out repairs.

- Construction and dismantling, installation and adjustment of the backline / band / sound system.

- Making your own light show / program.

- Adjusting / controlling the sound system.

- Mixing music formations (band, DJ, singer-songwriters).

Since we are a youth foundation, we are looking for young people between 15 and 27 years old.
