Voluntary coordinator VPTZ Gooi en Vechtstreek

The VPTZ Gooi en Vechtstreek foundation offers support at home (where "at home" can also be permanent residence in a nursing home or other type of care institution) for people for whom no curative treatment is possible and who are in the last months of their lives. Trained and committed volunteers offer concrete support for the client and his / her loved ones, so that the carers can take some time for themselves when the volunteer is there.

The VPTZ Gooi en Vechtstreek Foundation is looking for a voluntary coordinator who is able to work together with a group of volunteers and make the right match based on the client's needs at home. You provide tailor-made solutions to essential questions in the last phase of a life.

The voluntary coordinator works in a team of three coordinators and the region coordinator VPTZ. Together they coordinate the collaboration with the 20-30 volunteers. You can justify your actions to the regional coordinator.

The entire Gooi en Vechtstreek region is your work area, living in the region and owning a car has proven to be a condition.

Task elements:

- Available by phone for requests from future clients

- Taking an intake at the client's home

- Making the right match between a volunteer and a client

- Leading and supporting the group of volunteers

- Building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders, healthcare organizations and relevant networks

- Recruiting and guiding volunteers together with the regional coordinator
