For a neighborhood room on the Lucent site in Hilversum East, we are looking for someone who will help us to make this initiative flourish. Are you a spider in the web who likes to make contacts? Then we are looking for you!

The neighborhood room is an initiative that originated just before corona, so we are still waiting for the moment to really get off to a good start. It is a place where local residents can meet and do fun activities. The neighborhood room is located in a care flat and is there for and throughout the neighborhood.

As a volunteer coordinator you have the following tasks:

Recruiting new volunteers, conducting intake interviews and guiding volunteers

You support in setting up new activities and neighborhood initiatives

You support volunteers (groups) in setting up and running a neighborhood room 'household'

You think along in setting up and securing a residents' steering group

You work together with the social workers of Versa Welzijn

This is you:

You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude

You are good at making fifteen minutes

You have experience with volunteering

You have an affinity with working with a vulnerable target group

You have coaching qualities

You can work independently

You can empower people, and you can properly assess their possibilities and limits

You are patient and have perseverance

You are available for at least 16 hours a week
