PR/spokesperson:
- Giving information and presentations at churches, service clubs and schools.
- Contacting/maintaining contact with the written press and other media.
- Keep information up to date in consultation with the secretariat.
- Keep Facebook page up to date.
- Create publications/advertisements for third-party magazines.
- Submit photos for the website.
Fundraiser:
- Raising money from socially involved organisations, private individuals and businesses.
- Budget-oriented work, so consult with the treasurer.
- The volunteer who “sells” the bus advertisement.
Actions:
- Facilitating actions organized by third parties. (letters, crates, transport and possibly volunteers)
- Making annual planning in consultation with stock management.
- Lead the action coordinators in: planning and organizing fundraisers for long-life products at supermarkets, churches or schools.
- Sorting the collected products from (school) promotions in consultation with stock management. (approach a team of volunteers for assistance).
- Point of contact for action volunteers.
- Attending board and executive board meetings. About 5 to 6 meetings a year.
Time use:
At the time of promotions 2 to 3 half-days per week. Work pressure can vary greatly.
