Work buddy for integration course participant cooking

What are you going to do?

Together with 3 women who are undergoing civic integration, you will help with cooking at NudeToekomst. There is a head chef who indicates what needs to be done. The idea is that you can also come up with your own ideas. Two women have been working there for a while, and one woman will start in November. All three speak a different language.

You are the bridge between NudeToekomst and the women. You are the point of contact for NudeToekomst. Through practice, you teach her how things work in the Dutch workplace. This involves Wednesdays from 10:00 to 12:00/12:30, once every two weeks. Another work buddy does it the other week.

With whom?

The women do not learn the language as easily. They go to school three times a week. They are friendly, enthusiastic women. By doing volunteer work together, they develop a love for the work. In this way, they are already learning the Dutch work culture and are in a Dutch-speaking environment.

When?

Wednesday from 10 to 12/12:30

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a woman who is available on Wednesday mornings. You connect well with others and are very patient. You can keep up with their pace. You do not get discouraged if language development progresses very slowly.

For questions regarding the content of the work, you can contact the NudeToekomst coordinator. For questions about supporting refugees, you can always contact the Vluchtelingenwerk supervisor. You will also have meetings with the other work buddies so that you can exchange experiences. Before you start, you will participate in a training course provided by Vluchtelingenwerk so that you are well prepared to get started.
