Events/Promotion Volunteer

VOD's PR team:

Do you enjoy organizing meetings, fun activities or other events? Do you like to write social media updates, a newsletter or press release? Or do you have ideas about how we can put VOD's work in the spotlight? Refugee Under the Roof is looking for volunteers who want to work as part of a small and close-knit team to promote our organization. This with the aim of recruiting new volunteers and promoting the organization to the wider public.

Tasks of the Volunteer Promotion/PR/Communication are:

• Organizing meetings such as a picnic, meeting café, open day, lecture about the work of VOD, etc.;
• Promoting Refugee Under Roof during events such as the Liberation Festival or the Molenmarkt;
• (co-)write social media updates, the newsletter, press releases, etc.
• Actively thinking along and proposing promotional campaigns.

We are looking for someone who:

• Affinity with refugees, undocumented migrants and Refugee Under Roof;
• Likes to arrange and organize;
• Enthusiastic, creative and driven;
• Has good communication skills;
• Can work both independently and in a team;
• Flexible and available on call basis.
