Do you have a passion for gardens and would you like to maintain our ornamental and vegetable garden?
The employees of Visio Het Loo Erf work at a fantastic location, almost in the woods of Het Loo in Apeldoorn. On the grounds, between the buildings and next to the woods, a gem of an ornamental and vegetable garden is hidden. For our blind and partially sighted clients, this garden is the place where they can retreat into nature and relax. In addition, this is the place where you teach clients that working in the garden is still possible. Because Visio thinks in possibilities!
Our fantastic garden deserves all the love and attention. The garden has been lovingly maintained for many years by our colleague volunteers Aletta, Ineke and Eric. They are responsible and arrange everything the garden needs. But it is time for a next generation. Aletta, Ineke and Eric have indicated that they will stop maintaining and guiding the clients in the garden in 2025.
A garden suitable for the visually impaired requires a special design. There is a treasure trove of valuable knowledge and experiences from Aletta, Ineke and Eric ready to share with you.
