Are you crazy about billiards?
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who enjoys playing billiards for a friendly gentleman with dementia.
The gentleman greatly enjoys a game of billiards and would like to go out with someone to a location where billiards can be played. Besides the game, it is primarily about social interaction, a relaxed atmosphere, and undertaking a fun activity together.
Are you patient, sociable, and do you enjoy playing billiards together occasionally? Then you might be the volunteer we are looking for. You not only give the gentleman a pleasant day but also contribute to his well-being and quality of life.
What do we ask?
- Affinity with the elderly and/or people with dementia.
- Patience, commitment, and a friendly attitude.
- Willingness to take the gentleman to a billiards location and play a game together.
