We are looking for a volunteer for a resident of Pieter Pauw who wants to make music with him.
This resident takes great pleasure in music, sings, and enjoys playing the harmonica. Therefore, we are looking for someone who plays an accompanying instrument and enjoys making music together. If you also enjoy singing, that would be a wonderful addition.
The resident particularly enjoys familiar songs from the past. Playing, singing, and experiencing music together provides fun, relaxation, and a valuable moment of connection.
Except for Tuesdays, it is possible every day. Preferably around 1:00 PM.
During the first meeting, you will meet the resident together with the music therapist. After that, you can independently make appointments to visit him.
We are looking for someone who can play an accompanying instrument, so that the resident can play along on their harmonica. It would also be nice if you could sing, so that we can make music together. Musical skill and enjoyment of making music are more important than perfection in this regard.
The music therapist is happy to help brainstorm suitable songs and offers support where necessary. You can also always drop by to exchange experiences or ask questions.
