Do you have your small boat license and would you like to tell us about the Fortress? We are looking for skippers for our museum boat in the season April - October.
Detailed description
In the sailing season, which runs from April to October, the museum offers visitors the opportunity to view the ramparts from the 'enemy's' side.
The tour, which takes about an hour, takes our visitors with the patrol boat over the eastern side of the fortress moat. As a skipper you make the visitors aware of the sights and let them enjoy the splendor of the fortress.
On Wednesdays and weekends, the schedule is: 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. The patrol boat can also be booked exclusively and can accommodate up to 18 passengers. In the summer months we also regularly organize longer evening cruises, with two skippers.
What do you need:
- Small boat license or commitment to obtain this boat license (reimbursed by the museum)
- You like to tell about the fortress
- You are available at least 3 afternoons per month
What do we offer:
- Good guidance for handling the boat as well as telling the story of the fortress

- Regular meetings for volunteers such as the monthly volunteer drink, summer BBQ, Christmas gathering and the annual volunteer outing
