Because a watercolor painting teacher recently quit. We are looking for a person who specializes in watercolor painting.
The Gelders Palet is an association of amateur painters that motivates its members to achieve ever better performances and also fulfills a social role. We are now looking for a person/artist who specializes in watercolor painting and who can take the place of a teacher who recently retired.
What are you going to do?
The association has its own studio at Kamerlingh Onnesstraat 1 in Wageningen. In addition to four half-days of free painting, various drawing and painting courses (including drawing, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, etc.) are provided there, and special workshops and exhibitions are also organized. Twice a year, weekly painting courses (including watercolor) are given during a fixed half day (currently Thursday afternoon) over a period of 7 weeks. In addition, it would be nice if the teacher could occasionally contribute to organizing special workshops and exhibitions.
What are we asking?
Good knowledge and skills regarding watercolor painting and as a teacher. Able to work independently and collaborate well. The membership consists of women and men, some of whom are of advanced age, but it also includes a group of young people, including a number of foreigners. That is why knowledge of the English language is an advantage.

Participation in a fun and creative association, and a volunteer allowance for the painting courses to be provided.

It can be stimulating to see members enthusiastically working on painting.
Working time
Every Thursday afternoon for 7 weeks (as it is now, and the time for the preparation of each course afternoon
