Member of the swimming team
WAAG is looking for new supervisors for our swimming groups in MFC Doelum in Renkum. If you want to start the weekend with energy on Saturday, you are welcome as a volunteer at one of our swimming groups on Saturday morning. Can you come every week or less often, in consultation it is all possible.
Together with a group of volunteers, we ensure that WAAG is the place where everyone who needs guidance can swim. All year round, but not during the summer, Christmas and May holidays.

Are you ready to become a part of something sporty and inspiring as a volunteer at WAAG? Then you can join our swimming groups at MFC Doelum on
Saturday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 am (adults)
Saturday morning from 10.30 - 11.30 am (youth)
Saturday morning from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm (swimming lessons for children)
What can you do?
- Guiding the participants: from practicing together or playing a game to making people feel comfortable in the water.
- Creative coaching: together with you, the swimmers discover the pleasure of moving in the water.
- Stronger together: together with your teammates you ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely, both for the participants in the water and when supervising on the shore.
- Feedback is your friend: working together within the team is fun, you help each other to make everything run smoothly.
Who are we looking for?
People with a warm heart who like to work with people who need extra attention to be able to play sports. Are you someone who
- knows how important conviviality and having fun is,
- is flexible and wants to think about what the participants need to have fun in the water,
- Are you available as a swimming instructor for 1.5 to 2 hours?
Then we would like to meet you!

About Sportclub WAAG
WAAG is a sports and recreation association for people with disabilities. We are there for people with an intellectual and/or physical disability, but we also have experience with participants with acquired brain damage and autism. WAAG organizes various activities in Wageningen and the surrounding area. Guidance during and around the activities is provided by our volunteers. Where necessary, WAAG provides appropriate materials and tools. This way, all participants can exercise and relax in a fun, sporty and safe way.
