Travel2Connect is a small-scale social enterprise that offers interns and volunteers the opportunity - if you are open to it - to learn from another culture. We put you in direct contact with the local inhabitants of Gambia or Senegal. We strive for you to have an authentic and unique experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
If you think it's important to make a difference in the lives of children, this is an interesting challenge. You will work at an educational center. This center is located on a nearly 1 hectare large orchard with fruit trees, gardens and animals. In the “learning lab”, local children between 7 and 17 years old use tablets with more than 100 apps for language, math, patterns and logic. Also the nature around them; the plants, the animals and the sun (solar energy) provide different learning activities. The project is visited almost daily by about 20 to 50 children.
