Socio-cultural worker; Volunteering in The Gambia

There are many children and young people in the Gambia who have no chance of education and / or work because of poverty. That's one of the reasons they hang out aimlessly on the street. As a youth worker you can mean a lot to them in The Gambia. Together with a local football club you can organize sports activities that also involve other young people. In addition, there is an opportunity to organize creative and cultural activities such as a disco evening, a dance competition, etc. In short, there are all kinds of possibilities where you can make meaningful use of yourself in a completely different culture and from which you too will learn a lot.

We offer;

* You are at least 18 years old on the departure date.

* You are physically and mentally healthy.

* You are patient, flexible, reliable and interested in other cultures.

* You have experience regarding the vacancy or you follow a training for this.

* There is an application procedure.

* You pay the costs that voluntary work in The Gambia entails, such as preparation and supervision costs, airline tickets, accommodation costs and meals.
