As a location manager, you are responsible for coordinating and partly carrying out tasks yourself that ensure that our building and facilities are in good condition.
Detailed description
Do you know what it takes to make our building stand out? Would you like to contribute to a wonderful venue for all kinds of special meetings and initiatives in Wageningen?
What are you going to do?
As a location manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and partially performing tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our building and its facilities. You'll do this together with other volunteers from the location team and the host team. These tasks may include:
- Advising and guiding visitors, tenants and volunteers when using the building
- Coordinating and (having) carrying out odd jobs and minor maintenance on the building and installations
- Coordinating and (having) carrying out cleaning activities
- Together with the Rental Coordinator, monitor the rental policy and, where necessary, advise tenants or make claims regarding the use of the spaces
- Ensure sufficient supplies (food, cleaning supplies, office supplies, etc.)
- Contact the property owner (landlord) and suppliers
- Managing key safe (codes) and key agreements
- Various tasks in the field of prevention and emergency response
What are you bringing?
As a location manager, you'll be dealing with a wide variety of people and tasks. You enjoy working in a community and know how to strike a good balance between people-focused and task-focused.
You're an empathetic networker who can listen carefully to others' questions and needs. At the same time, you're clear about what's acceptable and what's not, and you don't hesitate to address users when necessary. You're fluent in Dutch and preferably also speak English.
You enjoy working with other volunteers, know how to coordinate activities, look for (new) volunteers for jobs that need to be done and are also willing to roll up your sleeves yourself.
