Handicraft is totally hip again and back with a vengeance.You like needlework, but you have no sales channels. You have rediscovered your old creative hobby in these corona times. You want to make a social contribution with your creative hands.
Detailed description
Who are we?
Tessel damage Apeldoorn. With our Tesselschade Studiefonds we invest in training for women so that they can be economically independent. The proceeds from our handicraft sales go directly to our charity, the Tesselschade Studiefonds. With this study fund we are able to financially support women in their education. Through a financial gift of tuition fees and/or book money so that vulnerable women with a diploma can find a job more easily. This fund supports students nationally and locally within Apeldoorn. We are a club for and by women.

The handmade products that you make for Tesselschade Apeldoorn are sold online without profit, and/or through fairs, and/or made to order. You are willing to work for us on assignment. Our craft coordinator will assist you with advice and assistance, and will provide you with patterns and materials. Will you help?

We ask
You can learn one or more craft techniques at an advanced level.
1. Embroidery; you can embroider more than just cross stitches.
Oo. the French knot stitch, the flannel stitch, single chain stitches, stem stitches, and/or free embroidery. You know all the embroidery stitches.
The more complex the embroidery pattern, the more fun you like it.

- Willingness to work from home on assignment
- High quality standards in terms of handicraft and work standard
- Performing under time pressure (e.g. work to order)

- Living in Apeldoorn or its immediate vicinity
- If you have a seamstress background, you have an advantage

Tesselschade Apeldoorn. Met ons Tesselschade Studiefonds helpen wij vrouwen bij de financiering van hun studie om economisch zelfstandig te zijn.
Dit jaar bestaat Tesselschade 150 jaar en heeft onze landelijk vereniging sinds 8 december jl. het predikaat Koninklijk. In de afgelopen 150 jaar heeft de eerste Nederlandse vrouwenvereniging, Tesselschade Arbeid-Adelt, meer dan 11.000 vrouwen geholpen met de financiering van hun studie en opleiding. Dankzij steun in de vorm van contributies, donaties én met de opbrengst van handgemaakte producten worden studiebeurzen gefinancierd.
De vereniging Tesselschade, opgericht om vrouwen te ondersteunen op weg naar financiële onafhankelijkheid, ondersteunt nu nog steeds vrouwen die zelf onvoldoende middelen hebben, met studiebeurzen in de vorm van giften. Om zo een opleiding te volgen die leidt naar betaald werk. Steun aan onze vereniging kan nog steeds.
