Job description Treasurer (m/f) TdH

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Financial management
2. Managing bank and cash flows.
3. Checking and paying invoices.
4. Processing the turnover in the accounts.
5. Maintaining financial administration.
6. File a VAT return.
7. Budgeting and planning
8. Drawing up the annual budget in collaboration with the board.
9. Monitoring budget compliance.
10. Drawing up financial forecasts.
11. Reporting and accountability
12. Preparing financial reports for the board.
13. To be accountable for the financial situation of the foundation.
14. Preparing and presenting the annual financial report.
15. Contact with external parties
16. Maintaining contact with banks, suppliers, Terre des Hommes NL
17. Other activities
18. Advising the board on the financial consequences of policy decisions.
19. Identifying risks and opportunities in the financial field.

Requirements and skills:

1. Affinity with finance and accounting.
2. Accurate, reliable and honest.
3. Good communication skills.
4. Experience with accounting software.
5. Affinity with the objectives of the foundation.
