Summary
At TeamED16 you are trained and trained to independently support youth and young adults (12-30) based on your OWN experience in (youth) care.Detailed description
TeamED16 is continuously looking for new #colleagues to strengthen our team and increase our offering to young people. #TeamED16 is working where it really matters, namely 1-1 guidance of a young person. #TeamED16 is training 3 times a year, an internal training to become an expert by experience, self-development through inter- and supervision, involvement, but above all a cool team.
You are an adult (preferably between 21 and 40 years old) and have extensive experience in (youth) care. This could be addiction care, closed, mental health care, etc.
You have your own life well on track, are free from substance abuse and would like to use your life experience.
You are willing to spend at least 8 hours per week, follow the internal training (starts in October), participate in the monthly intervision and the external training courses (3x per year). Part of the selection procedure is a job interview with the two coordinators.
We realize that we ask a lot, but we also give a lot in return. Most of our colleagues have further developed within the team and found work as experts by experience or have completed regular training in healthcare. As a colleague nicely said; What I learned in theory at school, I have already seen and done in practice at TeamED16.
ED methodology
TeamED16 works with experienced experts. Own experience is part of the method we use to support a young person. Our experience(s) and way of working - what have we missed in the past - shapes the ED method.
Core values TeamED16
Connection - Reliable -Available - Unconditional
What is the ED method?
We provide young people with tailor-made support, in all areas of life and across all domains. We sincerely connect with the young person and build our relationship on mutual trust . We ensure that the young person is heard and seen. We are available to the young person if they need us. We prefer to work together with care providers, from the young person's perspective. We do not offer treatment, but support. We strive to unconditionally strengthen and represent the young person in all areas of life, so that the young person can develop at their own pace and in their own way and only let go when the young person is ready.
