Summary

As webshop coordinator, you ensure our handmade products reach customers and help create opportunities for deaf people in Uganda.

Detailed description

About Talking Hands Foundation

The Talking Hands Foundation is dedicated to supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in Uganda, with a special focus on education and inclusion. We strive for a world in which everyone has equal opportunities to lead an independent and dignified life.

To fund our projects, we sell unique, handmade crafts created by deaf women in Uganda. These talented artisans produce beautiful bags, skirts, baskets, wallets, fanny packs, stuffed animals, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, crafted from local, natural materials and vibrant African fabrics.

Each product tells its own creative and cultural story, helping to raise funds for our educational programs. In doing so, we create employment opportunities for deaf women and support the development of deaf and hard-of-hearing youth.
