Volunteer Javaplein Schalkweide

Especially for Laantje 5 on Schalkweide, we are looking for volunteers who want to be significant in the living room. You are linked to someone from the care sector and together you ensure that there is specific attention for various residents. This can be in a group context, but also individually.

Required knowledge and skills

We ask that you have a genuine interest in our residents, that you can observe and connect with others. Are you calm, patient and do you enjoy giving one-to-one attention? These skills are important when dealing with residents. Because no two days are the same and the demand can be different every day, it is important that you are flexible in the performance of your duties.

The added value of being a volunteer at Stichting Sint Jacob is that you have a place in our teams. We listen to employees and volunteers. Together with you, we look for a suitable place where you can offer something to our residents, but you can also develop yourself. We want you to enjoy yourself and go home with pleasure and that our residents have a valuable day because of your efforts.
