At the Massage voor de Zorg foundation, you will work in a team to give Hand-Forearm Massage to elderly people with dementia in the Velsen and IJmuiden region. We do this in care institutions. In the short term, we are already looking for people for the care institution Breezicht, Velserduin and WF Vissershuis in IJmuiden and new locations. People with massage experience are welcome, but also people who would like to learn. There is a workshop available for this.
You will become part of a massage team of more than 100 masseurs. We provide support in the form of practice sessions, deepening and volunteer meetings.
This form of massage provides a lot of meaning. For you and the recipient. You feel or see the effect immediately. In this way you help the elderly in a beautiful way with a bit of relaxation and enlightenment. This is so welcome!
The workshop on Monday evening May 26 in Haarlem, is free this time instead of the normal costs of € 65, - This includes reference work, massage oil and certificate of participation. By participating you do have the intention to commit yourself to the foundation for a period and a volunteer agreement is drawn up.
