On board the Blue Bever, the possibility is offered during the cruises to consume coffee, tea, drinks, soup and simple snacks, for a fee. Sometimes a simple lunch is part of the cruise or there are free provisions.
The (volunteer) Catering Coordinator ensures that the supply of provisions is up to standard and that the equipment present is operational. The coordinator maintains contact with the planning coordinator and other coordinators. Naturally, the Catering Coordinator has contacts with our external suppliers.
The direct point of contact for the Catering Coordinator is the board member “Ship” with whom there is regular consultation about the sailings to be carried out and with whom the working method is coordinated and recorded.
During the sailing season ( April-September ), 8-12 hours per week is expected in the high season, which is laid down in the sailing plan in consultation.
