You are our face and connect people
A hospitable volunteer who, during visitor days and events (school visits, concerts, etc.), sells visitors and participants a ticket, has a chat and explains to people about the Castle Ruins. If you also enjoy helping out in the supporting catering industry, that is also possible.
We receive many international guests, so it is nice if the volunteer has a reasonable command of the English language.
About Stichting Heerlijkheid Brederode
In 2016, the Stichting Heerlijkheid Brederode (SHB) took over the management of the Ruin of Brederode by its owner, the national Monuments Property Foundation (SMB).
The board has appointed a manager in the person of Rob Kortekaas. He lives in the house on the Ruïneterrein and is responsible for the implementation of the annual programme. He manages and operates the Ruin, together with 60 volunteers.
The Ruin is open from March 1 to November 1.
The board consists of 4 persons: a chairman, vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer.
