Web editor in Grave

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Do volunteer work at an editorial office? That is now possible! The editors of the Voorste Kamer at Dedicon in Grave make listening magazines and news for and about the blind and visually impaired. Do you want to gain experience in a creative team as a web editor? You are very welcome at our head office in Grave.

WHAT DO WE ASK FROM YOU?

• You are between 18 and 25 years old.
• You follow or have completed a course at a minimum of higher vocational level, for example Journalism, Dutch or Communication Science.
• You master the Dutch and English language.
• You have affinity with the target group blind and visually impaired.
• You are socially involved.
• You are available for at least six months for eight hours a week.

WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN?

• Professional guidance and coaching.
• Practical experience within an enthusiastic and creative team of editors.
• Flexible working hours in consultation and the possibility of working from home.
• You will receive a recognized certificate on request if you work for at least 50 hours.
• You will receive a travel allowance if you do not have a student public transport pass.
• References for future applications.
• And of course the nice feeling that because of your effort someone with a visual or other reading disability can simply enjoy a magazine.
