As a language coordinator you are the spider in the web of the language groups at Da Capo. On the one hand you are busy with the women who register and on the other hand with the organization of the language lessons that are given by volunteers.

Who are we?

Da Capo is committed to migrant women through language lessons and activation activities to help them find their way in Dutch society.

Activities

You coordinate matters concerning the language lessons. You are the point of contact for the language volunteers, you help them with teaching methods and/or materials if they need them. You keep an eye on whether the women are in the right lessons and discuss this with the language volunteers. Furthermore, you are also the point of contact for the women who are taking lessons. You do the registrations, place them in the right groups and communicate this with the volunteers. You may sometimes be able to give a workshop on certain teaching methods to give the volunteers some tools.

We ask

Preferably someone with a NT2 background, who has taught themselves, and/or has coordinated a lot around language lessons. You are independent and can guide volunteers well and help them use teaching materials and teaching methods. You are a jack of all trades. You enjoy doing the intake interview with women who come to register.

Furthermore, you are handy with the computer and the mobile. You do a lot of changes in the database and in the mobile.

We offer

A friendly volunteer organisation that enthusiastically supports people with other languages.

Time Spent

You have 2 half days (2x 4 hours) to support Da Capo (to be arranged in consultation).
