About the toddler group ("the Kido") at the AZC/POL Bosrandweg

Every morning, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the toddlers come to play. We have a cozy play area with toys and a great group of volunteers.

The number of toddlers varies, on average about 6 children per morning.

There are two volunteers to supervise the group, sometimes with help from a resident of the asylum seekers' center.

Our goal is to offer the children a pleasant, cheerful play morning and to ensure that they feel safe and comfortable.

It is nice for the parents of the toddlers to have a morning for themselves.

What do we do:

Playing with toys, singing songs, making music, doing puzzles, playing with clay, drawing, painting, looking at books... In short, everything that toddlers like.

For toddlers who find it exciting, parents are always welcome to stay with them for as long as necessary.

Times

We regularly look for volunteers, if possible also to step in.

We are currently looking (urgently!!!) for a volunteer for Friday mornings. Working hours are from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

The toddler group is closed during school holidays.
