Do you want to puzzle with an 87-year-old lady or listen to Rowwen Heze so that this 89-year-old gentleman can get out?
An elderly couple is looking for some help. The 89-year-old gentleman takes care of his 87-year-old wife. This is going well, but it would be nice if he could get out once in a while. So that he can be relieved a bit in that care, by going out for a while. The lady would like to see someone more often, because it is difficult for her friends to visit her.
Are you that volunteer who likes to make a puzzle or listen to music with Mrs. once a week or once every two weeks? Mrs. can tell enthusiastically about her antique puzzle collection or her favorite band; Rowwen Heze.
If this sounds like something to you, you can join Socius as an informal care volunteer, we can then be there to support you with whatever you encounter, organize a VOG and a one-off basic training (2.5 hours). You will also get to know different types of volunteer work that we offer.
