With the vacancies we post here, we make sure that the client and the volunteer can act according to the RIVM corona guidelines. Being able to keep a distance of 1.5 meters is one of the most important conditions now.
Nars (40 years old) lives in Hilversum with his wife and two dogs. He works as a carpenter at Sherpa and makes beautiful furniture there. Nars is spontaneous, has a lot of humor and enjoys a good joke. He has NAH (Non-Congenital Brain Injury) and some things suffer from it. He is looking for a buddy (preferably a man) to do chores together in the house or garden, to exercise together at the gym or to cook together at home.
Working hours: entirely in consultation, just how it suits you and Nars
Special Conditions: Affinity with people with a disability
Induction method and guidance: An introduction will take place where you will see if this volunteer vacancy suits you. Should you decide to assist us with this, you will work with an enthusiastic team of permanent supervisors.
You will be asked for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). We take care of the application for you free of charge.
Every volunteer is insured during the execution of the work and you will of course receive a reimbursement for your travel costs. A party evening for volunteers is organized once every two years. Of course you will receive a Christmas package and the Sherpa magazine twice a year.

Activities
Sherpa is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers. How often you meet depends on you. Some like to go to the local market together every week, others agree on a monthly basis. The employees of the Social Deployment Office listen to your wishes, hobbies and interests and put them next to the questions of the clients. That way we always look for the perfect match!
