Marouin is a very friendly man (40 years old) who speaks a good bit of Dutch, but still has a lot of trouble reading and writing Dutch. He really wants to learn and also improve his pronunciation to the A1 and A2 levels. Do you want to help him with that? His uncertainty means that he sometimes sees bears on the road. His health leaves something to be desired, so it would be nice if the volunteer wanted to visit him at home in Hilversum. This can be once a week, but also once every two weeks. Day and time in consultation.
Working hours: in consultation
Special Conditions: We are looking for someone with patience and empathy who would like to help someone get a better grasp of the Dutch written language.
Training method and guidance: Volunteers are indispensable. We realize that very well. That is why Sherpa in turn wants to take good care of the volunteers. There will be an introduction where you can see if this volunteer vacancy suits you. If you decide to assist us with this, you work together with an enthusiastic team of supervisors.

Activities
Sherpa is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers. How often you meet depends on you. Some like to go to the local market together every week, others agree on a monthly basis. The employees of the Social Deployment Office listen to your wishes, hobbies and interests and put them next to the questions of the clients. That way we always look for the perfect match!
