Are you passionate about arts & crafts? you will have the opportunity to inspire others, foster creativity, and make a positive impact through arts & crafts!
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate arts and crafts sessions: Lead or assist in conducting arts and crafts workshops, classes, or activities for special needs individuals of different ages and skill levels.
- Prepare materials and supplies: Help set up and organize art materials, ensuring that special needs individuals have everything they need for their creative projects.
- Provide guidance and support: Offer breakdown instructions, demonstrations, and assistance to special needs individuals, encouraging their artistic expression and helping them develop their skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment: Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where special needs individuals feel encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves.
- Showcase finished artwork: Help organize and display artwork created by special needs individuals, celebrating their achievements and promoting their work within the community.
Qualifications:
- Passion for arts and crafts: Genuine enthusiasm for various artistic mediums and techniques.
- Creativity and artistic skills: Proficiency in one or more art forms, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, paper crafts, or other crafts.
- Patience and adaptability: Ability to work with individuals of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Strong communication skills: Clear and effective communication with special needs individuals and program coordinators.
- Organization and attention to detail: Ability to manage art supplies, set up workstations, and maintain a tidy and safe environment.
- Positive attitude: Enthusiasm, positivity, and a passion for fostering creativity and personal growth in others.
