We are a small, but fun scouting group with a beautiful terrain in Deventer and we are urgently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to guide our beavers (5-7 years), cubs (7-11 years), scouts (11-15 years) of Explorers (15-18 years). Do you want to volunteer in an adventurous environment, then we are Scouting Westenenk looking for you !!!
Working hours
Saturday morning for beavers or cubs. Friday evening for scouts and explorers.Special Conditions
What does the leadership do? • Provide guidance and care for the youth members of their own game branch. • Responsible for the correct execution of the Scouting Game, based on the Scouting method. This includes: creating, preparing, executing and evaluating monthly programs and summer camp for the youth members of your game branch. • Guiding and stimulating beavers, cubs, scouts or explorers in their personal development, taking into account the age group of your game branch. • Perform job-related and organizational tasks and activities, such as consultation within the group and region and recruiting new team members. • Committed to improving their own performance and that of the team. Children 5-17 years help develop into adults. Scouting teaches children to be independent, to manage in nature, to cooperate, to socialize and to take initiative. There is also a lot of fun with the scouting
