Detailed description
As a Volunteer First Aid at Events you stand by at pre-planned events and provide first aid where necessary. If necessary, you alert professional emergency services, offer psychosocial support to victims and third parties and possibly transfer the care for the victim to professional social worker (s).
Working hours: In consultation.
Special Conditions: You can continue to perform effectively under time pressure. You can estimate when professional assistance is necessary and timely alert professional emergency services. You remain calm and you can reassure those involved. You can also pass on relevant information about the victim to a professional counselor.
Training method and guidance: Led by a team leader.

Together with more than thirty thousand volunteers, the NRK provides Emergency Aid, Event Aid and First Aid (education) in the Netherlands. The NRK also makes an active international contribution to disasters and conflicts. We do this in the form of sending specialists, goods or money.

Activities
We organize various activities on a local level. We offer emergency assistance, provide information and help people to save themselves and also offer all kinds of recreational activities to people with a limited social network. We also provide first aid courses and
we offer support at events in the field of First Aid.
