Detailed description
In a disaster, incident or crisis situation, the Population Care team is ready to offer assistance to those affected. Together with your team members you are responsible for: * Registering victims and answering questions from relatives and the public * Organizing the reception locations and ensuring primary necessities of life, such as food, sanitation and sleeping places * Assisting those affected during evacuation and during transport to another location
Working hours: in consultation
Special Conditions: * You have a First Aid diploma or are prepared to obtain it * You have a good physical and mental condition and are able to come to the deployment location yourself
Introduction method and guidance: You get an introductory interview, then a basic training of 3 day parts (in November 2016) and the opportunity to further develop yourself.

Together with more than thirty thousand volunteers, the NRK provides Emergency Aid, Event Aid and First Aid (education) in the Netherlands. The NRK also makes an active international contribution to disasters and conflicts. We do this in the form of sending specialists, goods or money.

Activities
We organize various activities on a local level. We offer emergency assistance, provide information and help people to save themselves and also offer all kinds of recreational activities to people with a limited social network. We also provide first aid courses and
we offer support at events in the field of First Aid.
