General Core Coordinator

The Dutch Red Cross is for people in need. Both around the corner and far away. We help from our hearts and with our sleeves rolled up. We also ensure that people can help themselves and teach them how to help others. So that in times of need nobody stands alone. We work globally on the basis of our seven basic principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntariness, unity and generality. The Utrecht district administration is looking for an immediate: GENERAL CORE COORDINATOR What are you going to do: • You are responsible for carrying out the various activities, together with the activity coordinators; • You are the point of contact for all volunteers in the core and for the departmental board; • You work together with the other key coordinators within the department; • You have insight into the requests for help in the work area; • You build and maintain a local network in relevant areas. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO • Has organizational skills and a good overview; • Communicative skills, clear expectations about what needs to be done • Affinity with volunteers and volunteering; demonstrable interest and involvement • knows how to inspire and motivate others, is a connector of volunteers at the core; • Is a networker who can make connections between different worlds with initiative and enthusiasm; • An average of 6-8 hours a week is available.
