UNICEF has a mission: to ensure that every country respects and respects the rights of children, which are enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. UNICEF works together with governments, companies, private individuals and children to fulfill this mission in the best possible way. In the Netherlands we are assisted by several thousand volunteers. Through their active efforts these volunteers in the Netherlands contribute to the work of UNICEF.
With this 'unpaid but unaffordable work' you contribute to the welfare of children all over the world.
As an employee at an event you help organize an event. Drafting a plan of approach, arranging transport of materials, obtaining permits and promoting the action. Also during the event you will help and ensure that everything is going well.
In this region, the UNICEF course has been held for years in September / October. Or would you like to help with a speed event? Or do you want to help yourself think of what else is possible?
Organizing campaigns and events is one of the ways in which UNICEF is visible in the Netherlands. By being visible, we get the chance to tell children and adults about the work of UNICEF worldwide. There are many children who need help and in this way you can use your enthusiasm, time and energy to create a better world for children.
