If you have experience working with woodworking machines and enjoy sharing this knowledge with our clients, we're looking for you!
Our woodworking department creates beautiful wooden products. Our custom-made items, which are continuously sold in the Houtzagerij shop, include birdhouses, insect hotels, and burner-printed pendants and postcards. We also regularly make wooden furniture, such as (picnic) benches, upon request.
In addition to assignments from customers, day care participants also have the opportunity to come up with their own ideas.
The woodworking department is part of Zin! day care, a division of Pro Persona. Pro Persona is an institution for specialized mental health care.
Detailed job description
As a volunteer in the woodworking department, you'll work alongside our professionals to support our clients in creating all these beautiful products. We're particularly looking for someone who can inspire our clients and support them in realizing their own ideas. Experience and/or expertise in woodworking and working with woodworking machinery is a plus.
