Trainee Jong Present

A traineeship is a period of at least 80 hours in which you work within the Present foundation, with goals that you want to work on. Personal growth, helpfulness and energy are central to us.

What are you going to do?

• Project coordination : For six months you organize several projects per month for a group of young people, according to Present's method.
• A project is a meeting between the group of young people and a fellow townsman who has problems. By carrying out a job at home or helping in a care institution, you give vulnerable people a new start and / or a special day in their lives.
• Evaluate: after the project you evaluate with the group of volunteers and the care provider.
• Participate in various national training courses, together with trainees from other Present foundations in the Netherlands

• Are a student or recent graduate (17 - 28 years old)
• Have a heart for your fellow man
• Are flexible in terms of employability (evenings, half-days, weekends - in consultation)
• Has a practical attitude and likes to arrange things
• Have good communication skills, both digitally and in real life
• Are available 2 days of 6 hours / 3 days of 4 hours (total 12 hours) per week from February 2021, for six months

• Participate in various national training courses, together with trainees from other Present foundations in the Netherlands, including:
• Getting to know and applying the DISC / SCAN profile • Presenting for groups Basic course Present (being) • Poverty and debt in the Netherlands • Practical project management • Marketing and communication: storytelling, online communication, recruitment of volunteers • Social entrepreneurship (only for the Leadership Program) • Exchange and peer review meeting
• Reimbursement up to € 150 per month
• Recognized Europass Certificate
