We are looking for several group leaders (volunteer position).

What does a group leader do?

A group leader brings people together. By organizing meetings, looking after each other is strengthened in Apeldoorn. Through social organizations that are active in Apeldoorn, Present Apeldoorn connects groups of volunteers with aid recipients. In this way, the aid reaches those who need it most.

Groups of volunteers can do something for someone else for a day (part). To give these groups a good experience with volunteering, we are looking for group leaders.

As a group leader, you are the point of contact between a group of volunteers, a care provider and the person receiving the help . You go to places where you might not otherwise go, meet many different people. You go along to prepare a project after Present has done the matching. You communicate with both the care provider and the group of volunteers. On the project day itself, you guide the group by starting and closing the activity.

You contribute to the agreements being clear to everyone and to a good meeting. All activities take place in the municipality of Apeldoorn. In this way, you contribute to more connection in your city.

What are you bringing?

• You have a social heart
• You like organizing and can work independently
• You enjoy working with different types of people: aid recipients, aid workers, students or pupils, church members, employees who work as a team and many more
• You are able to prepare a group of volunteers well and inspire them for the actions they are going to carry out
• You are communicatively skilled (also somewhat digitally), social and careful

What do we ask of you?

• Time investment: Per project you will spend about 4 hours. In an introductory meeting we will gladly discuss the possibilities with each other.
• Projects are available both during the week and on Saturdays, so being flexible is nice.
• You sign a volunteer agreement
