School class excursion supervisor (June - July, Tuesday or Thursday morning)

Help supervise schoolchildren during a morning excursion to the picking garden on Tuesday or Thursday mornings, and once on a Friday morning. The excursion runs from 9:30 to 12:15. We ask that you arrive around 9:00 to 9:15. The class will be divided into groups of a maximum of 6 children per group, plus a supervisor from the school (teacher or parent). The groups will complete 6 short tasks (related to soil life, sowing, vegetable gardening, and harvesting) in the picking garden. We are looking for people who enjoy supervising such a group. You will explain what they are going to do, provide background information regarding the tasks, and answer any questions.

We currently have a number of concrete dates: 25/6, 2/7, 3/7 (Fri), 30/7. And a few more are on hold. Ideally, we would like someone who could help multiple times. If you would like to come and help, please get in touch to get acquainted and learn more about what the assignments and guidance entail.
