Summary
Once workshops are possible again, we will regularly look for people who want to help prepare materials or provide substantive assistance with flower arranging or making jam.Detailed description
On-call help with workshops, (children's) parties and events in the Pluktuin. Help can consist of preparation such as building the tent/stall and setting up materials or more substantive help during the workshop such as flower arranging or making jam.
What are you going to do?
Depending on the event, you will help set up the tent (if bad weather is predicted), set up tables and materials, guide participants during the workshops (flower arranging, making jam, tea herbs, edible flowers) and help clean up afterwards. You will work together with an experienced person.
Who are we looking for?
Customer-friendly attitude. Depending on what your efforts will be, additional knowledge may be required. During a workshop, assistance may be required, for example, in setting up the tent or showing participants how and where they can pick. You will receive an explanation for this at that time, but you do not need any additional skills. For example, if you are assisting with the content of a flower arranging workshop, you will need knowledge/skills of flower arranging. If you want to help regularly, we can also teach these skills.
What do we have to offer you?
A nice, quiet, outdoor work place (canopy available to shelter in bad weather). A nice, small, group of volunteers to work with.
What makes the work worthwhile?
The environment, working outside, the peace and quiet, the people you work with or take breaks with.
Working hours:
On call. Usually between 9am and 5pm, occasionally in the evening.
