Detailed description
Thanks to the efforts of these volunteers, many people with intellectual disabilities have had a pleasant time every Friday evening for years, where they eat together and meet each other.
The volunteers work with a professional from the accompanying organization. These are Het SIG, De Waerden and Philadelphia. From one of these organizations there is always someone present who has knowledge of the clients.
At Christmas, Easter and at the end of the season, we go all out.
From Welzijn Velsen there is a professional contact person with whom you meet several times a year and who you can call upon if necessary.
We are looking for chefs to cook weekly and you can help set the table, serve, clean up, etc. You will enjoy eating with us.

During the day activities of Grab your Chance! WE organize day activities in a community center-like way with volunteers. Some of the activities are for all local residents, some are for eligible residents. WE are looking for volunteers who can provide safety and structure.
