Volunteers of the Dwarsligger organize a snack bar together with a professional for people with a mental disability who live independently.
Detailed description
Thanks to the efforts of these volunteers, many people with a mental disability have had a pleasant moment every Friday evening where they eat together and meet each other.
The volunteers work with a professional from the accompanying organization. These are Het Sig, De Waerden and Philadelphia. There is always someone from 1 of these organizations who has knowledge of the clients.
At Christmas, Easter and at the end of the season there is extra unpacking.
There is a professional contact person from Welzijn Velsen with whom you meet a number of times a year and who you can call on if necessary.
We are looking for cooks every other week and to fill in and you can help set the table, serve, clean up, etc. You can enjoy a meal with us.
Do you think you can handle the target group well, can you work in a group and do the tasks seem interesting to you? Then sign up.
So every other week for a permanent cook. Weekly for assisting and setting the table, etc. The functions can also be combined. Everything in good consultation.
